About The Dhharrma Project
Discovering History Awakening Values Building Unity
Our Story
हमारी कहानी
It is lost through disuse
Bihar holds one of the deepest reservoirs of spiritual and cultural memory anywhere in India. Much of it survives — in temples, in oral tradition, in the practices families keep without always knowing why. The Dhharrma Project began with a simple observation: this inheritance is rarely lost through opposition. It is lost through disuse.
It is lost in the gap that opens when one generation cannot explain it to the next. A grandmother lights a diya; a grandchild watches and does not ask. Nothing has been rejected. Something has simply gone unsaid.
We work at that gap. Through gatherings where the tradition is practised rather than described. Through history told accurately, without embellishment. And through a language young people recognise as their own — because in our experience they are curious far more often than they are dismissive.
हमारा दर्शन
OUR PHILOSOPHY
A tradition is not a museum
A tradition is not a museum. It does not survive by being protected from people — it survives by being used by them. Everything we do follows from this: we build gatherings that people take part in, not performances they watch. We recognise contributors as partners in a mission, never as sponsors of an event. And we hold that dharma belongs equally to the devotee of eighty and the student of eighteen.
सहभागिता से संरक्षण • संरक्षण से संस्कार
Participation leads to preservation. Preservation becomes legacy.
हमारा ध्येय
Our Mission
To keep Sanatan Dharma living and accessible — through gatherings, scholarship and seva that invite participation from every section of society, regardless of age, means or background.
हमारी दृष्टि
Our Vision
A Bihar where every town has a community that knows its own sacred history, celebrates it together, and passes it on with confidence to the generation that follows.

प्रामाणिकता / Authenticity
We tell our history as it is. A tradition this old needs no exaggeration.

No ticket, no fee, no barrier. Our gatherings are open to every person.
